Intermediate Jacket Making
Using the Ellsworth or Tamarack jacket patterns, we are going to make the perfect spring jackets! Skills covered in this class include: buttons and buttonholes, facings, yokes, welt & patch pockets, setting in sleeves and collars. This class is the perfect follow-up to our Sewing Skills series.
Materials: A materials list will be emailed to you prior to class. Pattern included.
Skill Level: Intermediate
Prerequisites: Sewing 101, Serger 101, or entire Sewing Skills series. Must be comfortable using a rotary cutter and have previously completed a multi-piece commercial pattern project.
Sessions: This is a weekend intensive sewing workshop. Due to the complexity of this sewing project and the condensed nature of the class, all participants MUST arrive with their paper pattern pieces already cut out.
This class will meet on:
Friday, March 23, 2018 from 6:30pm to 9:00pm- We will cut out our fabric pieces.
Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 11:00am to 3:00pm- We will sew.
Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 11:00am to 3:00pm- We will sew and finish!
Registration for this class will close on Friday, March 9, 2018 to ensure that each student receives the materials list, pattern, and is able to complete their homework before the first class begins.
