Myrtle Dress Weekend- August 2019
Learn how to make Colette Patterns Myrtle dress in a fun and skilled filled weekend! This is Heather's favorite go-to dress (she has made at least 10 of them) This dress has a beautifully draped cowl neckline, a comfortable and figure-skimming elasticized waist, and a flowing gathered skirt with in-seam pockets. Skills covered include how to read a pattern, taking measurements, sewing with knit fabric, creating a waistband and hemming.
Materials: 3 yards of medium or light weight jersey knit, ponte or ITY. 2 yards of 1" wide elastic and coordinating polyester thread.
You must purchase, download, and print out the pdf pattern before class. Please have the printed pattern cut out & taped together.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner
Prerequisites: Sewing 101 or equivalent experience and previously completed a multi-piece commercial pattern project. (Experience with a rotary cutter is helpful)

Handcraft Workshop provides sewing machines and general sewing and cutting tools. We will email you a supply list prior to the start of class. You are responsible for purchasing the fabric, thread and supplies for class. We do not provide or sell fabric, thread or notions. Please be sure to bring all of your materials and supplies to class.
